Featured Products

In a 2012 survey, state CIO’s noted their top priorities such as shared services, cloud computing, and virtualization. These priorities are shared by state UI agencies and ITSC. Following these priorities, ITSC is now offering all states access to hosted services for tools that multi-state consortia and the ITSC project management team are using for IT projects. ITSC’s hosted services offer states cost efficient, flexible, and a convenient solution for state IT projects. The cost of ITSC’s hosted services for each tool is very cost effective based on a monthly user account for the life of the project. As a service to the states, ITSC will provide maintenance and support for these tools. States will be able to access these tools at any time during the life cycle of a project.

Project Collaboration Portals

The ITSC’s project portals provide a collaborate environment for the UI community to interact with each other and openly share information. These portals, hosted on a SharePoint environment, serve as a collaborative workspace for project teams to access and share documents throughout a project life cycle. ITSC is offering states the opportunity to develop their own project collaboration portal for multi-state or single state IT projects.

Requirements Gathering Tools

ITSC maintains the full suite of IBM’s Rational Requirements Composer (RRC) tool as part of our hosted services which states may use as needed. This requirements gathering tool provides rich requirements definition capability combined with the power of requirements management analysis functionality in a single Web-based application built on the Jazz Team Server. This tool helps teams address define and manage requirements in ways that can drive improved product quality, faster time to market, and help maintain the alignment of business objectives and IT solutions throughout the development life cycle.
